The sustainable power development requires the study of quality while taking into account electrical equipment is an important aspect because it highly compromises overall efficiency including quality, reliability and continuity flow. aim for smooth flow only accomplished if compatibility met between all instruments connected to system. odd harmonics both on amplitude phase domain must be known in order exactly cop up with their adverse effects working In this regard, parameter estimation performed detail diverse generation size (gs) particle (ps), besides altered signal noise ratio. Firefly optimization technique under different scenarios parameters accurately estimated proved its robustness levels. MSE values achieved by FFO are 6.54 × 10−3, 1.04 10−5 1.35 10−6 20 dB, 50 dB 80 respectively gs = 200 case 1. While respective results 2 7.33 6.67 6.59 10−9 1000. Whereas no significant effect performance seen change ps values.
